Recipe Ingredients for tostadas

2 tbsp Vegetable Oil, Canola
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
1 tsp Cumin Seed
3 cup Beans, Pinto, Mature Seeds
10 shells Old El Paso Tostada Shells

Recipe Directions for tostadas

  1. Heat oil.

  2. Chop onions

  3. Cook onions in oil til soft.

  4. Add cumin.

  5. Cook, stirring for 1 minute.

  6. Add beans and 1 cup water.

  7. Mash until like very lumpy mashed potatoes.

  8. Cook on med-high heat until most water is absorbed.

  9. Spread on shells.

  10. Top and eat.
