Recipe Ingredients for Tortilla Stackup

5 oz Fresh Ground Turkey - Lean
2 tablespoons water
1 tsp Taco Seasoning Mix
1 Pita, Whole-wheat [i18042]
1/2 cup Refried Beans, Zesty Salsa [i114259]
1 oz Cheddar Cheese
1/2 oz Jalapeno, pickled
1/4 cup salsa, fresh
1 oz lettuce
1 tablespoon sour cream, low fat

Recipe Directions for Tortilla Stackup

  1. Preheat oven to 450F

  2. Brown ground turkey in a small skillet

  3. When brown add water and taco seasoning to turkey and mix to coat meat.

  4. Cook until water has mostly evaporated then remove from heat

  5. Place pita on baking sheet

  6. Spread pita with refried beans

  7. sprinkle with cooked turkey

  8. top with cheese and jalapenos

  9. Bake @ 450F for 10 minutes

  10. Top with salsa, lettuce, and sour cream

  11. Eat while warm
