This is good by itself, or add some tortilla chips, grated cheese or avocado to garnish.

Recipe Ingredients for Tortilla Soup

4 cups canned diced tomatoes
2 cups canned whole kernel corn
2 cups canned black beans
2 cups fat free chicken broth
4 oz. canned diced green chiles
12 oz. cooked diced chicken breast
1 large onion
4 cloves garlic, minced
3 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. cumin
1 tsp. cayenne

Recipe Directions for Tortilla Soup

  1. Dice the onion.

  2. Throw everything into a large pot.

  3. There's enough salt in the canned stuff that you won't need any more.

  4. Bring to a boil, then turn down heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
