Recipe Ingredients for Tortilla chicken springform casserole

1 cup refried beans
3 tortilla, medium
1 chicken breast, boneless, skinless
1/2 cup onions
1 cup bell pepper
3 ounces velveeta
1 cup salsa
1/2 cup shredded cheddar

Recipe Directions for Tortilla chicken springform casserole

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Spray small springform with cooking spray.

  2. Dice chicken breast and saute in pan. Add salsa, onion and peppers and saute until cooked through.

  3. Spread 1/3 cup refried beans on tortilla and place in pan. Spread 1/2 chicken topping over tortilla and 1.5 ounces of velveeta cut into chunks.

  4. Repeat another layer.

  5. For top layer spread 1/3 cup refried beans on tortilla and place over layers with beans side down.

  6. Spread some salsa over top of tortilla and spread shredded cheese over top of casserole.

  7. Bake for 30 minutes or until cheese is melted and lightly browned.
