Recipe Ingredients for Top Ten granola apple cinnamon

6 cups rolled oats
1 1/2 cup wheat grem
2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup Walnuts, English
2 apples
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup water

Recipe Directions for Top Ten granola apple cinnamon

  1. Directions

  2. Stir dry ingredients in a large bowl until evenly mixed. Whisk oil and water together, then mix into oat mixture. Spread out onto two 11x17 (in) non-greased baking sheets. Bake in oven at 200 F for 1 to 2 hours ― or until golden and slightly crispy. Stir occasionally. Cool, then add salt to taste. Keep result refrigerated.

  4. Best of bran: Stir 1 cup raw bran into oat mixture before baking.

  5. Cinnamon apple: Stir 1 cup chopped peeled apples and 1 teaspoon cinnamon into oat mixture before baking.

  6. Date delight: Stir cup finely chopped dried dates into oat mixture before baking.

  7. Apricot almonds: use almonds as the ?chopped nuts? in the ingredients. After baking, add 6 oz of dried slivered apricots to result.

  8. Crunchy: Stir cup each of raw sunflower seeds and sesame seeds into oat mixture before baking.

  9. Honey Treat: whisk cup of liquid honey with the vegetable oil and water before stirring them into oat mixture. [Brown sugar should still be included.]

  10. Lots of raisins: Add 2 cups raisins to result after baking.

  11. Chocolate crunch: After baking and cooling, add cup chocolate chips to the result.

  12. Coconut: Stir cup sweetened coconuts into oat mixture before baking.

  13. Mixed fruit: Stir 1 cup slivered dried fruit, such as apples, peaches, or pears, into result after baking.
