Granola with dried fruit and sunflower seeds

Recipe Ingredients for Tonya's Granola

4 cups rolled oats
1 cup wheat germ
1/2 cup molasses
6 tbsp dark brown sugar
1/2 cup dates
1/2 cup dried blueberries
1/2 cup dried raisins
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
6 tsp cinnamon
6 tbsp canola oil

Recipe Directions for Tonya's Granola

  1. Mix oats, wheat germ, sunflower seeds and cinnamon; set aside.

  2. Bring molasses and oil to a bil over low heat.

  3. Mix into oat mixture.

  4. With you hands, squeese samll handfulls and scatter on a greased cookie tray.

  5. Bake for 15 minutes.

  6. Stir and bake for another 10 minutes.

  7. Add dried fruit and bake for another 10 minutes.

  8. Let cool completely and store in an airtight container.
