Recipe Ingredients for Toni's steel cut oat risotto

0.67 cup Steel Cut Oats Organic
1 pat (1" sq, 1/3" high) Butter
0.5 tbsp Oil Olive Extra Virgin
1 wedge Light Original Swiss Spreadable Cheese Wedges
0.25 cup, chopped Onions
2 clove Garlic
2.5 cup Soup, Chicken Broth

Recipe Directions for Toni's steel cut oat risotto

  1. Saute onions w/ butter and oil.

  2. add oats. mix well.

  3. add enough broth to cover oats.

  4. set timer for 25 min. bring to boil and reduce heat to a 4.

  5. add pressed or finely chopped garlic. constantl stir and add broth like u would a risoto.

  6. add last bit of broth at 5 min mark so it can evaporate off to the consistancy u like.

  7. when timer goes off. add cheese and stir until melted. serve.
