Mom makes this quick and tasty dish. She says it originally came from Aunt Joan.

Recipe Ingredients for Tomato Tuna Casserole

1/2 teaspoon salt
4 cups water
2 tbsp. canola oil
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
10 oz. frozen peas
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
12 oz. tuna in water (Mom uses one)
16 oz. tomato sauce (try one can?)

Recipe Directions for Tomato Tuna Casserole

  1. Cook onion and celery in oil until golden.

  2. Add peas, tsp. salt, pepper and tuna.

  3. Mix together.

  4. Arrange drained noodles around edge of skillet.

  5. Pour tomato sauce over tuna mixture in center.

  6. Bring to boil.

  7. Cover and simmer 10 minutes.
