Recipe Ingredients for Tomato and Swiss Chard tart

16 oz Chard, Swiss
1 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
3 pieces Sun Dried Tomatoes
2 large Egg, Whole
10 oz Tofu
1 sheet Sheets
2 oz Goat, Soft Type Cheese
1 tbsp Parmesan, Shredded Cheese
2 clove Garlic
1 medium (4-1/8" long) Onions, Spring Or Scallions
1 tsp Turmeric, Ground
3 tbsp Soy Sauce
2 tbsp Vegetable Oil, Canola
51 g Raw Tomato Cherry

Recipe Directions for Tomato and Swiss Chard tart

  1. Blend tofu, eggs, 1tbsp oil and soy sauce (or tamari) until smooth. Chop swiss chard into bite sized pieces, and cut tomatoes into thin slices.

  2. Heat pan with 1tbsp oil and add onion/scallion and garlic; cook for 4-5 minutes. Add turmeric and cook another minute. Add chopped swiss chard and cook, covered, over medium heat for 10 minutes (until cooked down.)

  3. Stir chard, sliced tomatoes, and goat cheese into tofu custard.

  4. Press thawed puff pastry sheet into glass baking dish and fill with custard/chard mixture. Sprinkle with Parmesan and bake at 375F for 45 minutes.

  5. Add salt & pepper to taste, if desired.
