Recipe Ingredients for Tomato Strata

6 slices (192 g) multi grain bread
2 cups diced tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano
2 eggs
1 cup skim milk
1/2 cup grated swiss cheese

Recipe Directions for Tomato Strata

  1. Combine all ingredients except cheese in baking dish

  2. Allow to soak for 1 hour in refrigerator

  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour

  4. Top with cheese the last 5 minutes of baking time
