Recipe Ingredients for Tomato Soup

4 tomatoes
14 oz can diced tomatoes
1 medium carrot
2 tbsp onion, chopped
1 tsp garlic, chopped
1 tbsp butter
2 cups water or homemade chicken stock
1/2 medium potato
1 green pepper

Recipe Directions for Tomato Soup

  1. Cook the tomatoes and the carrot on a pot with the water or chicken stock, at low heat until tender.

  2. Blend the soup with the onion, garlic and cheese, add herbs and spices to taste.

  3. Place the butter on the pot and let it melt at low heat, pour the mixture and simmer for 10 minutes.
