My favorite diet meal is a plain tomato sandwich. This makes a nice change from salads, and is quite filling.

Recipe Ingredients for Tomato Sandwich

1 pita, large (6-1/2" dia) Bread, Pita, Whole-wheat
2 tomatoes
2 teaspoons mayonnaise
1 Salt and pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for Tomato Sandwich

Slice pita bread in half. Slice tomatoes. Spread inside of each half of pita with 1 teaspoon mayonnaise. Add sliced tomatoes to fill each half. Season with Morton's Nature's Seasoning to taste.
