Recipe Ingredients for Tomato Salsa

1 quart fresh tomatoes
4 jalapeno peppers
1 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic
1/4 cup diced onion
1/4 cup chopped cilantro

Recipe Directions for Tomato Salsa

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with foil. Place tomatoes and peppers on cookie sheet in 1 layer. Bake in oven for approximately 25 minutes or until the skins of the tomatoes are cracked. If skins on tomatoes or chiles are black it is perfectly fine. When the veggies are done, put them in a blender with the remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth or the consistency you prefer. Salt to taste if you like.
