Classic Italian tomato salad. Delicious with fresh bread.

Recipe Ingredients for Tomato salad

3 tomatoes, peeled and sliced
1 cup onion, sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon black pepper, fresh ground
2 teaspoons basil, chopped

Recipe Directions for Tomato salad

Peel the tomatoes by plunging them in boiling water for 1 minute. Put under cold runnig water to cool and peel. Slice the tomatoes, and onions and place on a serving dish. Pour the liqid ingredients over the salad and top with freshly chopped basil leaves.
