Recipe Ingredients for Tomato & Mozzarella on Ciabatta

3 1/2 ciabatta servings , one full round
6 oz fresh mozzarella
2 medium tomatoes
1 leaf basil
2 tsp. olive oil
1/8 tsp. garlic salt

Recipe Directions for Tomato & Mozzarella on Ciabatta

  1. Cut ciabatta round in half horizontally, then into quarters.

  2. Use knife to remove some of inner bread to make room.

  3. Drizzle olive oil on both sides, and sprinkle with garlic salt.

  4. Place bits of basil leaf on bottom pieces of bread, then mozzarella slices, then tomato slices.

  5. Cover with top slices.

  6. Toast in pan if desired.
