Recipe Ingredients for Tomato Lentil Soup

4 cups tomato soup
1/2 cup tomato paste
1/4 lb lentils
1/2 cup basil

Recipe Directions for Tomato Lentil Soup

  1. Pour tomato soup into a large saucepan; add the tomato paste.

  2. Add lentils. Bring to a boil, then lower heat and let simmer until lentils are soft, about 30 minutes.

  3. Add chopped basil to soup and continue to simmer for 10 minutes.
