Recipe Ingredients for Tomato & Iceberg Salad w/ Homemade Blue Cheese Dressing

1 cup Iceberg lettuce
3 tbsp blue cheese, crumbled
2 tsp sour cream
1 tsp mayonnaise
3/4 tsp pepper
1/2 cup diced tomato
3 scallions

Recipe Directions for Tomato & Iceberg Salad w/ Homemade Blue Cheese Dressing

  1. Cut or shread 1 cup Iceberg lettuce set out on plate

  2. Dice 1/2 cup raw tomato set to side

  3. Dice/Cut 3 scallions set aside

  4. In small mixing bowl (about 1 cup size) add 2 tsp sour cream, 1 tsp mayonnaise, 3/4 tsp pepper, 3 tbsp crumbled blue cheese. Mix well with fork. You may also add 1/2 tsp Creole Seasoning (will add sodium content). Taste, add blue cheese (sm. amt) if desired.

  5. Spread Blue Cheese dressing over lettuce.

  6. Sprinkle diced tomato on top of lettuce & dressing

  7. Sprinkle diced/cut scallions on top of tomato.
