Recipe Ingredients for Tomato Florentine Soup

56 oz Crushed Tomatoes
4 serving Garlic Cloves
1 medium Onions
28 oz Garden Vegetable Broth
2 cup Spinach
2 cup Rice, White, Long-grain, Regular, Cooked
2 1tsp Olive Oil
0.5 cup Parmesan, Grated Cheese
6 fl oz Milk
0.25 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
2 cup (8 fl oz) Water
1 tsp Salt, Table
0.25 tsp Pepper, Black

Recipe Directions for Tomato Florentine Soup

Sautee onion and garlic in oil in large stock pot. Add spinach and sautee until wilted down. Add salt, pepper, and basil. Add crushed tomatoes and water. Cook on medium heat for 5-8 minutes. Add broth. Mix evaporated milk and flour together, there should be no lumps. When soup comes to a boil, add milk mixture. Soup should thicken. Use hand emulsifier to break up spinach. Add parmesan and rice and let simmer for 5 minutes.
