Recipe Ingredients for Tomato and chick pea soup

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 medium onion, chopped
400 grams canned tomatoes, chopped
2 garlic cloves, chopped finely
200 grams dried chick peas , cooked
5 grams marigold swiis vegetable stock powder
800 ml water, boiling
1 teaspoon dried mixed herbs
1 salt and pepper, season to taste

Recipe Directions for Tomato and chick pea soup

  1. Heat the oil fry off the onions untill soft, fry off the garlic add all of the ingredients, season to taste and bring up to boil and then simmer for 20 - 25 minutes.

  2. Divide the soup into 2, puree half and then combine in pan, reheat and serve with crusty bread.
