Recipe Ingredients for Tomato Broccoli Pizza with White Sauce

1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 c. vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/3 c. skim milk
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp flour
1/4 cup skim milk
1/8 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
1/8 cup sweet white wine
1 tomato
3/4 cup chopped broccoli
1/3 cup shredded mozzarella
2 tbsp basil

Recipe Directions for Tomato Broccoli Pizza with White Sauce

  1. Mix 1 c. flour, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/8 cup vegetable oil, 1/2 tsp baking powder, and 1/3 c. skim milk. Knead into a ball and roll out on pizza stone/baking surface. Brush 1 tbsp olive oil over dough.

  2. Melt 1 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp flour in a small saucepan. Add 1/4 cup skim milk and 1/8 shredded Parmesan cheese. Cook over medium heat 5-7 minutes until thickened. Spread over pizza dough.

  3. Slice tomato and lay slices on pizza. Sprinkle on chopped broccoli and shredded mozzarella. Sprinkle basil over top.

  4. Bake at 425 for 15-20 minutes. Let cool slightly before serving.
