Recipe Ingredients for Tomato Bisque

1 medium raw Leeks
1 stalk, large (11"-12" long) Celery
4 clove Garlic
3 tbsp Light Butter with Canola Oil
3 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms
32 oz Diced Tomatoes
3 cup Vegetable Stock
0.5 cup Cream, Fluid, Half And Half
6 oz Tomato Paste
0.5 tsp Pepper, Black
2 tsp Dill Weed, Dried

Recipe Directions for Tomato Bisque

  1. Add leek, celery, garlic and butter to a large saucepan and cook over medium heat until vegetables are tender, about 10 minutes.

  2. Add mushrooms, tomatoes, and broth to the saucepan.

  3. Simmer for 30 minutes. Puree the mixture until very fine and quite smooth.

  4. Return the mixture to the saucepan and add cream, pepper, dill weed, and salt to taste.
