48 ounces tomato sauce
2 cups whole milk
2 cups chick peas (pureed)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup basil

Recipe Directions for Tomato Basil Soup - Homemade - 147 Calories

  1. Serving size 1 1/2 cup

  2. Heat tomato sauce over medium heat. Stir often

  3. Puree chick peas (garbanzo beans) with a little bit of warm tomato sauce. Then add to sauce.

  4. Add remaining ingredients until hot. Stir often.

  5. If you prefer less sugar then add less, but if it is still to bitter then you may need to add more sugar. It all depends on the taste of the tomato.
