Recipe Ingredients for Tomato Basil Salad

1 medium tomato
1/2 medium sweet onion
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp olive oil
1/2 c fresh basil
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper

Recipe Directions for Tomato Basil Salad

  1. slice tomatoes and onions into thin slices

  2. alternate tomato and onion slices on a salad plate

  3. drizzle with sesame and olive oils

  4. let rest 10 minutes to meld flavors

  5. add chopped basil

  6. salt & pepper to taste

  7. serve
