Can also add your choice of cheese 2 T : feta, parmesan, Parmigiano reggiano but of course that will up the calories

Recipe Ingredients for Tomato and Basil Bruschetta

6 roma tomatoes, diced
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
2 1/4 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper, fresh cracked
1/2 cup onion, chopped

Recipe Directions for Tomato and Basil Bruschetta

  1. Whisk together chopped garlic, vinegar, salt, pepper, and basil.

  2. When combined slowly drizzle in oil.

  3. Add tomatoes and let sit for 20 minutes at room temp.

  4. Serve as you wish over entrees, or toast on bread with cheese on top.
