Tomato aspic with V-8 juice and vegetables.

Recipe Ingredients for Tomato Aspic

2 envelope Gelatine
16 oz Low Sodium V8 100% Vegetable Juice
2 oz Onion Red
0.25 cup, diced Celery
0.25 cup, pared, chopped Cucumber, Peeled
2 tbsp Lemon Juice, Canned Or Bottled
6 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
0.25 tsp Garlic Powder
0.5 tsp Celery Salt
1 serving Pepper Sauce

Recipe Directions for Tomato Aspic

  1. Mince onion, celery and cucumber.

  2. Soften gelatin in 1 cup V-8 juice for 5 minutes, then heat to dissolve.

  3. Add remaining v-8 juice, onion, celery. cucumber, lemon juice and seasoning. Salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Pour into individual molds, ring mold or loaf pan. Refrigerate until set.

  5. May add shrimp, black olives, stuffed olives, artichoke hearts, or cream cheese balls.
