Yummy salsa straight out of Mexico!

Recipe Ingredients for Tomatillo Salsa

1 quart fresh tomatillos
5 fresh jalapeno peppers
1 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped cilantro

Recipe Directions for Tomatillo Salsa

  1. Peel papery outer covering from tomatillos.

  2. Wash sticky stuff and dirt off in cold water.

  3. Line a cookie sheet with foil.

  4. PAM the foil and put them on the cookie sheet as evenly as possible along with the peppers.

  5. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 25 minutes or until very soft.

  6. Toss in blender along with garlic, onion and cilantro.

  7. Whizz up.

  8. Add salt to taste if you like.
