1/4 cup rice, cooked
1/2 cup green bean
1 1/2 ounces carrots
1 1/2 ounces firm tofu
17 g House of Tsang Classic Stir-Fry Sauce

Recipe Directions for Tofu stir-fry, Tsang classic sauce Classic sauce

  1. Slice tofu into strips 1/2 inch thick.

  2. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture and firm up the texture. Wrap tofu in paper towels and a tea-towel. Set a cast-iron on top and walk away for an hour.

  3. Unwrap tofu and cut into bite-sized pieces.

  4. It is recommended that you marinade the tofu in a flavorful liquid of some sort for at least 30 minutes.

  5. Lightly oil a skillet, and brown the tofu pieces on 2 sides, using medium-high heat. This will further firm the tofu to a more meaty texture and give it a more complex flavor.

  6. Microwave the green beans and carrots to your preference.

  7. Throw everything into a bowl with the rice and stir with about one tablespoon of the sauce.
