Recipe Ingredients for Tofu Stir Fry

12 oz Tofu, Extra Firm
0.2 cup Cornstarch
0.25 cup Peanuts, All Types, Dry-roasted
1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
1 tsp Ginger Root
0.13 tsp Spices Crushed Red Peppers
1 1tsp Olive Oil
16 oz Frozen Stir Fry Vegetables
2 medium (4-1/8" long) Onions, Spring Or Scallions
2 cup Brown Rice
5 oz Stir-Fry Sauce

Recipe Directions for Tofu Stir Fry

  1. Lightly coat tofu with cornstarch. In a bowl combine 1 tbs nuts, seeds, ginger, and red pepper. Add tofu; toss gently.

  2. Heat oil in large skillet over high heat. Add tofu to skillet and cook gently and quickly until seeds are toasted and tofu begins to brown.

  3. Remove tofu. Add veggies to skillet; cook and stir about 3 mins until heated through. Add stir fry sauce; cook and stir gently until mixture is bubbly. Add tofu; heat through. Sprinkle with remaining nuts and scallions and serve over rice.
