This spread can be used on bread and crackers or as a veggie/chip dip.

Recipe Ingredients for Tofu spread

12 oz tofu
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp oil (optional)
1 dash cayenne pepper, to taste
6 tbs lemon juice, Juice of 3 small lemons
2 tbs water
1 garlic clove
1 tbs onion, minced

Recipe Directions for Tofu spread

Place all ingredients in blender and blend until creamy. Taste, adjust seasonings, and blend a little more. Soft tofu will make a thinner spread, firm will make a thicker spread. Silken tofu (either soft or firm) will create a smoother texture.
