Tofu and Peanut Sauce Recipe

Recipe Ingredients for Tofu and Peanut Sauce

3 T peanut butter
3 garlic cloves, peeled and smashed
2 tsp ginger, minced
1 T molasses
1 T sesame oil
2 tsp honey
1 tsp tamari
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
1 jalapeno pepper
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 c water
1 lb firm tofu, pressed and cut into 6 to 8 triangles

Recipe Directions for Tofu and Peanut Sauce

  1. Preheat oven to 400

  2. Mix all ingredients except tofu in a blender. Set aside.

  3. Line a baking sheet with foil. Pour 1/3 c peanut sauce onto baking sheet. Lay tofu on sheet and pour remainder of sauce over it. Make sure all of the tofu is coated.

  4. Bake the tofu 20 minutes or until the sauce is hardened and slightly darkened.
