Easy tofu cutlets recipe. Goes great with curried cabbage, carrots and onions and over brown rice.

Recipe Ingredients for Tofu Cutlets

Recipe Directions for Tofu Cutlets

  1. Drain and press the tofu.

  2. Cut the tofu into 9 slices.

  3. Combine nutritional yeast, thyme, savory and turmeric in a shallow bowl.

  4. Using a medium skillet, heat the olive oil in the pan over medium heat. Be careful not to heat it so high that the oil smokes!

  5. While the pan is heating, dip the slices of tofu into the nutritional yeast mixture and place in the skillet.

  6. Sprinkle with tamari.

  7. Cook until golden brown on one side.

  8. Flip cutlets with spatula and cook until evenly golden brown on both sides.

  9. Remove from skillet and enjoy.
