Recipe Ingredients for Tofu and Broccoli in a Ginger Garlic Sauce

8 oz tofu, cubed
16 oz broccoli
5 oz bamboo shoots
2 cups vegetable broth
2 cloves of garlic
1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
1 tsp ground ginger
1/4 cup sugar
1/8 cup vegetable oil
1/8 cup sesame oil
1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch

Recipe Directions for Tofu and Broccoli in a Ginger Garlic Sauce

  1. Cook broccoli until just tender. Set aside.

  2. In large wok, boil broth. Stir in garlic, soy sauce, ginger, red pepper, and sugar into boiling broth.

  3. Lower heat and simmer broth mixture for several minutes, stirring often.

  4. Mix cornstarch with a small amount of cold water. Add to broth and stir until thickened.

  5. Coat vegetables in both oils in a large bowl.

  6. Add tofu and vegetables to broth. Heat through.

  7. Serve over warm rice. Enjoy!
