Lovely bittersweet truffles that will sort nearly any chocolate craving in a hurry.

Recipe Ingredients for Toffee Coffee Truffles

60 g maple syrup (actually Oscar's English Toffee, but that's not listed as an ingredient in the database)
30 g strong coffee
72 g Cocoa Powder, Unsweetened
160 g powdered sugar
100 g Desiccated Coconut, Not Sweetened

Recipe Directions for Toffee Coffee Truffles

  1. Mix everything together, roll into 13g balls, roll in cocoa powder to stop the stickiness and eat.

  2. You might want to add some more sugar, if so, re-analyse the recipe. These aren't very sweet at all, but they will sort a chocolate craving in a hurry.

  3. Feel free to improvise. These are different from my normal truffles simply because I didn't have any yogurt or fromage frais to hand, so I used other liquids I had to hand.
