Recipe Ingredients for Toad In the Hole

1 tbsp vegetable oil
700 g Sainsburys Basics Frozen Sausages , thawed
10 fl oz Milk, Semi-skimmed (Dairy Council Values)
10 fl oz water
2 eggs
8 oz plain flour
1/4 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Toad In the Hole

  1. Preheat oven to 425F/220C/Gas Mark 7/200C (Fan)

  2. Place the oil in a shallow ovenproof dish, about 12" x 16", and arrange the sausages in it. Place in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.

  3. Meanwhile place the batter ingredients in the blender and blend on maximum speed for 30 seconds.

  4. Lower the oven temperature to 400F/200C/Gas Mark 6/180C (Fan). Pour the batter over the sausages and cook for 25-30 minutes, unsil well risen and golden brown. Serve immediately
