Sausage cooked in a batter mix - delicious! You can use whatever sausage you prefer - I personally love it with a Pork & Beef mix, but any sausage you like will do.

Recipe Ingredients for Toad-in-the-Hole

220 grams Pork Sausage, Fresh
102 grams Egg, Whole

Recipe Directions for Toad-in-the-Hole

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees/ Gas Mark 6.

  2. Cook the sausages in a pan in the oven until just browned.

  3. Beat the egg and milk together thoroughly, then add the flour, a little at a time, along with some salt & pepper to taste, and beat together until smooth.
