TK's version of Eileen's version of Coon Rapids MadeRights, a sandwich filling similar to 'sloppy joe'

Recipe Ingredients for TK's MadeRights

1 lb lean ground turkey or lean ground beef
1/2 cup oatmeal
2 cups tomato juice
1 1/2 tbsp vinegar
1 1/2 tbsp Splenda or sugar
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp mustard powder
1 tsp soy sauce
2 dashes black pepper
1 dash cayenne pepper

Recipe Directions for TK's MadeRights

  1. Brown and drain fat from ground meat

  2. Add remaining ingredients and bring to boil

  3. Simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. and your patience!

  4. Modifications: Finely chopped onion rather than powder, finely chopped sweet pepper, finely chopped hot pepper (not super hot!) rather than flakes
