sausage and squash, a not-too-sweet squash dish! Fairly easy and quick to prepare.

Recipe Ingredients for tjcm's butternut bake

1 1/2 lb butternut squash, cubed
100 g White Onion, cubed
1 c bell pepper, strips
1/2 c Beef-Style Recipe Grounds , seasoned into sausage (I buy sausage seasoning from whole foods, it's the stuff they put into ground
1 t olive oil
3/4 t salt (NOT REALLY, this is compensating for the sausage seasoning)

Recipe Directions for tjcm's butternut bake

  1. preheat oven to 350*F

  2. microwave squash about 6min

  3. while squash is cooking, put remaining ingredients in pan and cook on med-high until tender.

  4. cut squash in half, remove pulp

  5. cut squash into cubes (leave the skin ON)

  6. toss all together in oven-safe pan

  7. bake about 20 minutes
