Homemade Banana Bread Makes 4 large loaves

Recipe Ingredients for tita's homemade Banana Bread

1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup olive oil
2 eggs (extra large)
2 cups mashed bananas
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons of honey
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for tita's homemade Banana Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degress

  2. Grease pans (soy butter or olive oil) or use pan liners for loaf pan

  3. Mash bananas. Add sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla and honey.

  4. Mix well with mixer (med. speed)

  5. Blend flour, baking soda, salt and spices, add to mixture and blend thoroughly.

  6. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips

  7. Pour mixture into greased or lined loaf pans.

  8. Bake 45 minutes or until bread tests done.
