Home made granola from Tim and April

Recipe Ingredients for Tim and April Granola

6 cups oats
1 1/2 cups flaxmeal
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup honey
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/2 cups raisins
1 1/2 cups chopped almonds

Recipe Directions for Tim and April Granola

  1. preheat oven to 350

  2. combine oats and flaxmeal and set aside

  3. in small saucepan mix brown sugar, oil, honey and cinnamon

  4. bring to a boil and remove from heat

  5. stir in vanilla

  6. pour mixture over oats and flaxmeal

  7. stir to coat evenly

  8. spread onto large shallow baking pan

  9. bake for 20 min allow to cool to room temp

  10. mix with raisins and almonds and sotre in airtight container
