Tilapia Sauce Recipe

Makes 8 servings



Use Fat-Free Mayo instead of sour cream

Recipe Ingredients for Tilapia Sauce

1/2 cups Parmesan cheese
1/4 cups butter, softened
3 tbls fat free sour cream
2 tbls fresh lemon juice
1/4 tspn dried basil
1/4 tspn ground black pepper
1/8 tspn onion powder

Recipe Directions for Tilapia Sauce

  1. Mix all ingredients and place aside.

  2. Set your oven to Broil. Broil 8 fresh tilapia fillets on non-stick alumimum foil for two minutes on each side. Remove pan from oven and evenly distribute the sauce on top of the fish fillets. Return fish to oven and broil for two minutes or until sauce is bubbling and JUST begins to brown (no more than 4 minutes or you will overcook the fish).

  3. Sauce can be cut down proportionately for smaller servings. Use Fat-free or low-fat mayo instead of sour cream (it wouldn't let me put in anything but full mayo).
