This makes two filets. Very simple, low-carb, lowfat, high-protein, and yummy.

Recipe Ingredients for Tilapia Filets (Steamed)

6 oz tilapia filet
3 tbsp orange juice
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Tilapia Filets (Steamed)

  1. Put one inch of water and some lemon wedges in the bottom of a steamer.

  2. Spray steam tray with non-stick cooking spray and lay thawed filets in tray. Let steam on med-high setting for 4-10 minutes, depending on thickness of filets.

  3. While fish is steaming, combine lemon juice, soy sauce, and pepper in a small dish.

  4. Carefully remove filets from steamer and drizzle with soy sauce mixture.

  5. Serve with steamed brown rice, steamed vegetables, and a glass of water or plain soy milk.
