Recipe Ingredients for Tilapia with Balsamic Brown Butter Sauce

8 ounce tilapia fillets(4)
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

Recipe Directions for Tilapia with Balsamic Brown Butter Sauce

  1. Salt and Pepper each fillet on each side to taste. Dredge fillets in flour and shake off excess.

  2. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat and spray with butter flavored cooking spray.

  3. Cook tilapia fillets for four minutes on each side. Remove to plate and cover with foil to keep warm.

  4. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to pan and allow to brown - about 2 to 3 minutes. Add balsamic and stir until sauce reduces and thickens - about 2 to 3 minutes.

  5. Pour sauce over tilapia and serve immediately.

  6. Yield 4 servings.
