Recipe Ingredients for Thrown-Together Pasta Sauce

1 cup stewed tomatoes, chopped
100 g tomato paste
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp basil
2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp olive oil
100 g red pepper, diced
30 g onion, diced

Recipe Directions for Thrown-Together Pasta Sauce

  1. Pour the olive oil into a heated frying pan. Add the red pepper, stirring them gently until they begin to soften -- then throw in the onion. Continue to watch them, moving them about the pan every so often, until the onion becomes translucent. Now, it's time to add all of the tomato goodies and the spices! Allow to simmer for about twenty minutes, keeping an eye on the mixture, and stirring it fairly often to keep anything from cooking to the pan.

  2. Serve over pasta, mama mia.
