Recipe Ingredients for Thrive wild rice and squash with sage butter

16 oz Kabocha Squash
3 tbsp Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
0.5 cup Wild Rice
0.5 cup Rice, Brown, Medium-grain
2 cup (8 fl oz) Water
0.5 tablespoon Sage
1 tbsp chopped Shallots
0.5 tsp Sea Salt
0.75 cup, chopped Peppers, Sweet, Red
1 cup, chopped Chard, Swiss

Recipe Directions for Thrive wild rice and squash with sage butter

  1. Preheat oven to 400. Cut squash in half and roast with some of the coconut butter for 40 minutes. boiled chard and thinly chop peppers.

  2. cut into 1 inch chuncks.

  3. prepare rice.

  4. In a food processeor blend coconut oil, sage, shallots and salt until smooth.

  5. In a sauce pan heat sage butter, add peppers, rice and carefully fold in the chard and squash. Enjoy!
