Recipe Ingredients for Three Grain Muffins

2 c. oatmeal
2 c. wheat, shredded
2 c. all bran
4 c. buttermilk
1 c. boiling water
1 c. vegetable oil
4 eggs
2 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
5 c. all purpose flour
5 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Recipe Directions for Three Grain Muffins

  1. In a large bown, combine oats, shredded wheat, and bran. Add the buttermilk, water, oil and eggs; stir 1 minute. Stir in brown sugar. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; add to the oat mixture. stir well.

  2. Fill greased muffin cups and bake at 400 degrees 18-20 min.
