No oil for less fat and calories. This recipe has more 'kick' than traditional 3 bean salad.

Recipe Ingredients for Three Bean Salad

30 oz green beans
15 oz of wax beans
15 oz kidney beans
1/2 med onion
1/2 red bell pepper
3 cloves garlic
1 cup white vinegar
1 T balsamic vinegar
1/3 cup sugar
1 t salt
1 t celery seed

Recipe Directions for Three Bean Salad

  1. Add together green and wax beans in large bowl~well drained

  2. Add kidney beans~rinsed and well drained

  3. Add onion and bell peppers~medium chop

  4. Add 3 cloves garlic~sliced thin

  5. In small bowl combine vinegars and sugar, stir until disolved then add to mixture

  6. Add salt and celery seed. Mix well.

  7. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours before serving

  8. Preferably longer marinate time 4-8 hours

  9. For less 'kick' reduce white vinegar to 3/4 cups and add 1/4 cup water.
