Recipe Ingredients for Three Amigos Chili

1 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion, sliced
1 lb ground turkey breast
10 oz diced tomatoes with jalapeño peppers
10 1/2 oz chickpeas
10 1/2 oz black beans
10 1/2 oz kidney beans
14 oz Chicken 33% Less Sodium Broth Rtsb
1 g Salt Substitute
1/4 tsp cumin

Recipe Directions for Three Amigos Chili

  1. 1 Tbsp olive oil

  2. 1 small onion, sliced

  3. 1 lb ground turkey breast

  4. 1 can diced tomatoes with jalapeño peppers

  5. 1 can (10 1/2 oz) each chickpeas, black beans, and kidney beans, drained

  6. 1 can (14 oz) low-sodium chicken broth

  7. 1/4 tsp each salt and cumin

  8. Hot sauce to taste

  9. In a pot, heat the oil on medium-low. Add the onion and sauté until soft (about 3 to 5 minutes). Add the turkey, and brown for about 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes with juice, chickpeas, beans, broth, and spices. Stir and bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes. (Freeze the leftovers and save $5 by eating them for lunch.)
