Barilla Recipe - Use Whole Grain Thin Spaghetti

Recipe Ingredients for Thin Spaghetti with Cherry Tomatoes and Pecorino Romano Cheese

13 1/4 ounces Thin Spaghetti
1 large red onion
2 1/2 tsp thyme
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
3 cups cherry tomatoes
3/4 cup water
2 ounce grated romano cheese

Recipe Directions for Thin Spaghetti with Cherry Tomatoes and Pecorino Romano Cheese

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions

  2. Meanwhile saute onion and thyme in half of the olive oil over low heat for 12 minutes

  3. Add cherry tomatoes and water and simmer for 8 minutes

  4. Season the sauce with salt and pepper

  5. Drain pasta and toss with the sauce

  6. Add cheese and remaining olive oil and toss again

  7. You can add crushed red pepper to taste to spice up the recipe.
