Recipe Ingredients for thick veggie soup

1 cup chicken stock
1 cup water
1/4 cup dry white rice
1/8 cup dry couscous
1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
1 large carrot, diced
1/2 cup celery, diced
1 large egg, beaten

Recipe Directions for thick veggie soup

  1. heat chicken stock with rice, let simmer for a long time until a soft mush

  2. add water and couscous and bring to boil

  3. Add frozen veggies and beaten egg.

  4. When heaten through, add fresh veggies and serve immediately.

  5. Makes one giant filling serving or two more reasonable servings!
