Recipe Ingredients for Thick vegetarian chili

1 onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 3/4 cups diced tomatoes
1 3/4 cups tomato sauce
1 3/4 cups dark red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 3/4 cups pinto beans, drained and rinsed
1 cup beef broth
1/2 cup cornstarch
1 1/2 tsp cumin
1 1/2 tbsp black pepper
3 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp tabasco sauce

Recipe Directions for Thick vegetarian chili

Saute onion and celery. Add canned ingredients and spices. Heat broth to boiling. Mix cornstarch with enough water to make it runny, then add to the broth. Add broth/cornstarch mixture to remaining ingredients. Let simmer until hot through.
